Paradiplomacy and Climate Resilient Development – Seminar with David-Pierre Guidicelli

C-Hub together with NMBU sustainability Arena TOWARDS welcomes you to a hybrid seminar about Paradiplomacy and Climate Resilient Development with David-Pierre Giudicelli.

David-Pierre will present some of the key findings of his master thesis,  exploring how the global involvement of subnational governments can contribute to the integrated approach of Climate Resilient Development. By comparatively looking at the paradiplomatic activities of two cases – the French region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the Norwegian city of Oslo – it investigates actual contributions to key dimensions of climate resilience and socially just development, highlighting some of the limits and potentials of a decentralized -or polycentric– approach to global climate action.
